Helicopter Twirls Uncontrollably into Palm Groves at Popular Southern California Beach
An aircraft flying over a popular California shoreline unexpectedly commenced twirling uncontrollably, finally losing altitude and plunging into a cluster of palm groves as spectators looked on.
Footage shared online depict the helicopter starting to spin over the beach then plunging towards the border of the shore, where it ends up lodged amidst palms and a steps near the coastal road.
Rescue Operation Details
Emergency responders said five persons were transported to a medical facility involving two who were in the aircraft and were “rescued from the debris” following the accident on that day.
Three individuals on the street were hurt. Specifics on their wounds were not yet released.
The cause of the crash was not yet disclosed.
